The IBP Boost Camp – the successor of the S&OP in One Day event – was given a complete makeover this year. Rather than taking up a full day, it was held as four short webinars to keep the energy level high in the online setting. Much of the program revolved around The Cool Connection: the new, online serious game which allows participants to experience the IBP process for themselves and discover exactly what it entails. Besides balancing supply with demand, it also turned out to be essential to integrate the financial planning to achieve a good result in The Cool Connection.
During the webinars, the IBP concept was explained and participants could share their own experiences.
One of the highlights was a detailed presentation by the Heineken IBP team which looked back on Heineken’s impressive IBP journey over the past few years. The experience they gained during that process was obviously valuable, since they emerged as the winning company team in The Cool Connection competition. IBP is clearly something that is mainly learned by doing!
All the participants were very satisfied with the IBP Boost Camp, as illustrated by the 100%-positive score in response to the question ‘Would you recommend this program to your colleagues?’.
