The Fresh Connection Global Challenge 2021

The challenge

In The Fresh Connection Global Challenge you will play with your team against other teams from many different countries: an ideal opportunity to test your supply chain management skills against those of your peers worldwide.

The objective is to save the virtual company The Fresh Connection from bankruptcy. Register with a team of 3-5 people, qualify for the World Final and create the opportunity to win an executive course at the world famous MIT in Boston!


Competition schedule 2021

Practice rounds (March 19th – April 9th)

To maximise your chances during the competition, you have the opportunity to play three coached practice rounds in March and April. After each round, Involvation will organise a webinar to provide feedback. The webinars will also introduce new features for the next rounds. The results of these three practice rounds do not count for the National Competition, but they do offer an excellent preparation.

March 19th: 10.00 – 11.00 AM Webinar 1 – Kick-off practice round 1
March 19th – March 25th Practice round 1
March 26th: 10.00 – 11.00 AM Webinar 2 – Feedback practice round 1
March 26th – April 1st Practice round 2
April 2nd: 10.00 – 11.00 AM Webinar 3 – Feedback practice round 2
April 2nd – April 8th Practice round 3
April 9th: 10.00 – 11.00 AM Webinar 4 – Feedback practice round 3


National competition (April 19th – May28th)

The Dutch National Competition starts on April 19th. Three rounds will be played simultaneously with other national competitions worldwide over a period of six weeks. Each round lasts two weeks, so each team has two weeks to take its decisions in the online Fresh Connection portal.

National final (June 21st)

The best teams in the Dutch National Competition qualify for the National Final on June 21st, 2021. The winning team of the National Final will advance to the World Final.

World final (week of November 15th)

The winning teams from all national competitions will compete on  November 19th & 20th in Amsterdam inIn November, the winning teams of all national competitions will compete in the ultimate challenge to determine who will win the Global Challenge 2021. The prize is an executive course at MIT in Boston!
